I see some references to RogueAmoeba's AirFoil ( ), and it seems like that could work (with the AirFoil satellite app on the iPad), but those references are many years old. ![]() You can select an individual program (like QuickTime or iTunes) or your entire system audio. Airfoil sends audio signals from a desktop computer to receiving devices, with a slight delay to keep audio in sync. I'll use Logic Remote for basic control over LPX, but slow round-trip response is not an issue. Rogue Amoeba’s Airfoil uses Apple’s AirTunes (now AirPlay) infrastructure, but breaks it out of iTunes. (Unless I'm missing something, there's no 'built-in' capability to route the audio from the Mac to the iPad associated with Logic Remote.) A preferred solution would have the audio sent to that iPad, but I have another iPad I can use for audio reception if need be. ![]() From the iPad, the audio would be played through either the headphone jack or the lightning cable into existing equipment. I'd like to wirelessly send the main audio out from LPX (10.5.1) running on my Mac (Catalina) to an iPad (iOS 14) in a different room.
